Ingredients:
2 Chicken Breasts
2 Large Slices of Ham
125 g of Grated Comte or Raclette
50 g (1/3 Cup) Flour
1 Beaten Egg
60 g (1 Cup approximately) Breadcrumbs
175 g Butter
Salt to taste
Directions:
Slice the chicken breasts lengthwise two thirds through and spread it open, with the cut side up
Place a slice of ham on top of both sides of the chicken breast. Drizzle the cheese on the ham
Fold the breast back into its original form with the ham and cheese now within the breast
Season the flour with salt. Dip the chicken into the flour, then into the beaten egg and finally into the breadcrumbs
Melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat and when it is melted , add in the chicken
Baste the chicken continuously and flip it over after 4-5 minutes
Remove from pan after another 4-5 minutes and let it sit for 2-3 minutes before serving
