Hey there!
Welcome to Avo & Co. We are a group of nutty people who are obsessed about the freshness and beautiful taste of fresh produce. We love that feeling of receiving a fresh produce delivery and be blown and wow-ed away by the colors, the vibrancy, the freshness of the produce. And that’s what we want to bring to you. You, who could be lugging yourself home after a long day’s work or You, who could be having your hands full with taking care of your family and just life in general. We don’t want fresh produce to mean half empty shelves on the supermart of much-tossed-about,yellowing-broccoli. We want fresh produce to mean beautiful ripened San Marzano Tomatoes, nutty Heirloom Ratte Potatoes and curious Watermelon Radishes to you.
We want to deliver amazing produce that you love. And hey, why shouldn’t we try to edge towards a more kind and sustainable world in the mean time?
Here’s what we wanted for you to experience when we were putting our heads together, planning for the upgrade of the site:
New Shop Page
We wanted for you to be able to easily pick out seasonal items for when you were interested in trying out something new. The filter bars are hopefully going to make things easier for when you would like to shop for specific diets, or when you are looking to shop for items from a specific country. We are also working on full and complete write-ups and recipes for each new product so you can spice up your menu (or turn into a geek like us!).
Delivery Details
We know that life happens! Whether you are staying at your parents’ place just for the weekend, or if you are gifting a box to your love one; we wanted you to be able to choose from a list of different addresses when you are checking out. And hey, some times it’s tough to schedule your time around waiting at home for a delivery, so feel free to let us know if we should contact someone else about receiving for the delivery, or if just rather for us to leave it with your neighbour, with our delivery fallback option.
Standing Order
You can now set up standing orders! Choose different frequency for different items. (Think weekly Milk delivery and fortnightly Burrata deliveries!)
Swap Box Items
Know exactly how much you are swapping for now! You now also have the option for upgrades into items from different categories! (Have we mentioned that there’s no more admin fees now?)
What’s coming up next?
An online know-it-all grocer
We are partnering up to upgrade the shopping experience! Pretty soon you will be able to ask our chat bot for tips or help and get recommendations input by us or hear from us rightaway!
Know your diet
We are setting up an auto swap out feature to automatically swap out items that you dislike, if they are in your weekly seasonal box!
Appreciating you
A loyalty points and referral program should be up before Lunar New Year! We can now better thank you for shopping with us and for when you share about us to your friends!
Reminders
Receive reminders for when you might have forgotten to shop, or have left out your favourite items!
