Not only are they more tender and sweet than your regular ones, did you know that you can eat the leaves as well?How to enjoy the freshness of the Rainbow Carrots:DO NOT, we repeat, DO NOT, throw away the leaves! Store them separate of the Rainbow Carrots if you are not planning to consume them any time soon. They can be used as a garnish, in a pesto or in a chimichurri!THE AVO PROMISEAvo & Co. is about helping our customers rediscover the joy of food. This means that we want our customers to have a ""woah"" moment when they open up their box, a ""mmm..."" moment when they put a tomato or a slice of avocado in their mouth. It's also about helping our customers be all excited and looking forward to cooking whether it may be with/for someone or themselves.On our produce, we try to get them as close to ripeness as possible before harvesting or sending it to you, so that you can taste its proper flavor (but the box should last you for 5 days to a week at least!). We also make it a point to try and not get produce when the season is just starting or ending as its flavor and price is not the best.On packaging, we try to use as little plastic packaging as possible. (Exceptions being berries, herbs and meat.) It's higher cost and higher effort but we just wanted to do what we can along the way. (If you have problems with storage, get in touch with us, we would love to share tips!. We would also like to stress that we are not 100% plastic free at the moment!
