This smoky and strong tea is a product of the famous Wu Yi mountain in Fu Jian Province. Apart from its Wu Yi characteristics, Rou Gui’s brew exhibits a hint of cinnamon in both its taste and aroma, which explains how this heavily fermented tea was given the name Rou Gui[肉桂].
*Rou Gui means cinnamon.
