Ingredients:
4 medium Yellow Onions, thinly sliced
1 fresh Figs, halved
2 cups Pinot Noir
6 Wagyu Burger Patty
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Shredded Cheddar/Gouda/Parmigiano
6 Burger Buns
Directions:
Heat a pan over high heat. Add the onions and stir. Reduce the heat to low when the onions turn brown
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or so
Remove the lid and continue to cook until the onions are caramelized (about 30 minutes) stirring every 5 minutes or so
Add the figs and the Pinot Noir and simmer over medium heat until all of the wine is absorbed and the fig and onions have cooked into a thick jam
Grill the patties. During the last minute of grilling, drizzle cheese on each patty and toast the buns, cut-side down. Place the patties in the buns and top with 2 to 3 tablespoons jam
